Your team
We are looking for a Forex Product Specialist with experience, passion for their work, and a strong team spirit for the Transaction Services department of the Operations division of Banque Pictet & Cie SA.
Your mission will be to handle all currency operations carried out on FX, NDF, and metals accounts, ensuring their correct accounting with the various account booking centers located in Switzerland, Europe, Asia, and North America. The ability to contribute to the continuous optimization of processes as well as to the quality of customer service will be a key performance factor.
Your role
- Ensure the processing, monitoring, confirmation, settlement, and delivery of currency operations with optimal quality.
- Verify the status of orders in several order books as well as transaction confirmations and take appropriate measures.
- Process or escalate inquiries in a timely manner and by appropriate means.
- Understand the flow of complex processes covering the entire operation processing chain and the operational workflows implemented in this context.
- Apply Agile and Lean working methods.
- Adopt and promote a continuous improvement approach and reduce risks at each stage of operation processing.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes to achieve productivity gains.
- Collaborate with the specialist teams of the Operations division to define and prioritize required improvements.
- Deepen knowledge of standards and practices in the field of currency operations.
Your profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations.
- Very good knowledge of processes related to currency operations processing as well as control of settlements and deliveries.
- Compliance with current policies and procedures.
- Exceptional rigor and thoroughness.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Mastery of Avaloq: an asset.
- Very good level of English, easy communication both orally and in writing.
- Residence in Switzerland required.
