As of August 1, 2027, a professorship in Constitutional and Administrative Law is to be filled at the Competence Center for Public Management (KPM) as well as at the Institute for Public Law of the Faculty of Law at the University of Bern.
Required are a completed habilitation or a well-advanced habilitation project or an equivalent scientific qualification, a lawyer's license or a comparable proof of achievement with practical experience, further excellent scientific achievements in constitutional and administrative law with specializations, for example, in administrative organizational law, in the area of digitalization, or in public finance and economic law, teaching experience, as well as the willingness to participate in the management of the interdisciplinary Competence Center for Public Management and to contribute to the acquisition of third-party funding.
Depending on the qualification of the person to be appointed, the professorship will be filled as a full professorship, associate professorship, or assistant professorship with tenure track.
