Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is a modern, supraregional competence, assessment, and treatment center with university affiliation. It ensures outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care for adult offenders and is responsible for minors and young adults who are involved in juvenile criminal proceedings and/or are in a juvenile measure. In addition, Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy provides suitable specialists for psychiatric/psychological assessments, risk assessments, and case management as well as for danger assessments and consultations, making an important contribution to prevention.
At the Rheinau location (not Zurich) we offer a 6-month internship starting September 2026
Your tasks
- Implementation of court-ordered inpatient measures in collaboration with the case-leading psychologist and the senior physician
- Professional offense-oriented forensic treatments in the form of individual and group therapies
- Legal prognostic assessments (Risk-Assessment)
- Psychodiagnostic examinations (performance diagnostics)
- Professional and timely reporting, documentation, and correspondence
- Support in the organization and management of aids for therapeutic offerings
Your profile
- At least 4 completed bachelor semesters (at the start of the internship)
- Proof of attended lectures in psychopathology desired
- Interest in forensics is desired
- Team-oriented and interdisciplinary action as well as good communication skills
- Applicants with a master’s degree in psychology cannot be considered
