Auxiliary nurse pool staff within the CPNVD
The Hospital Service of the Northern Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAN) is looking for several auxiliary nurses to strengthen its pool from February 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.
The Northern Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAN) is one of the services of the Department of Psychiatry. It provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to anyone suffering from mental disorders residing in the northern and western Vaud region.
The service operates according to a multidisciplinary approach, promoting collaboration between teams to encourage comprehensive care. The units therefore include doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, etc.
The adult hospital units include a 24-hour emergency service and several units able to receive patients with any psychiatric pathology.
Mission
You support patients in life crisis situations by promoting appropriate active listening and helping relationships, administering medication treatments
- You support and assist in daily life activities
- You participate in the development of care projects by observing symptoms and keeping the records up to date
- You contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent title, as well as recognition from the Red Cross for staff qualified abroad, mandatory)
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, can adapt quickly, and manage stress well
- You demonstrate dynamism, have good analytical skills, and enjoy precise work
- You master common computer tools (MS Office), knowledge of institutional software is an asset (Axya, Soarian, ...).
