SupporttheplanninganddevelopmentoftheIOC’sglobalsponsorshiparrangementsinaccordancewiththeOlympicCharterandOlympicmarketingframework,ensuringtheinterestsoftheIOCarerespected,andtheneedsoftheIOCandotherOlympicstakeholdersaremet.

Negotiateanddraftglobalsponsorshipagreements,workingcloselywithIOCTMSBusinessDevelopmentandCommercialIntegrationteams,aswellasFinance,OlympicGames,Sports,Athletes’andotherrelevantIOCdepartments.

WorkcloselywithorganisingcommitteesofOlympicGames(OCOGs)managingalllegalaspectsoftheirdomesticcommercialprogrammes,includingdevelopingtemplates,advisingonbestcommerciallegalpracticestakingintoaccountthelongtermcommercialinterestsoftheOlympicMovementasawhole,reviewingsponsorship,licensing,supplyandothercommercialagreementsproposedtobeenteredintobyOCOGs.

Eligibilitycriteria:

Qualifiedlawyeradmittedtopracticelawinhis/herjurisdiction(combinationofcivilandcommonlawexperienceaplus).

Atleast6yearsofexperienceasacommerciallawyeractinginthecommercialsportsorentertainmentsector.

Commercialexpertise,eitherataleadingcommerciallawfirmorIn-houseinaninternationalsportsorentertainmentorganisation.

Demonstrablesignificantexperienceprovidinghigh-qualityadvice,negotiatinganddraftingcomplexinternationalcommercialcontractsandexploitationofintellectualpropertyrights,includingnewmeansofexploitationofcommercialsportsmarketingormediaassets,inparticulardigitalinitiatives.

DemonstrableinterestincommercialsportslawandtheOlympicMovement.
