Ensure electricity in Switzerland
In this role, you will be responsible for the professional execution of telecommunications projects and thus contribute significantly to the safe operation of the nationwide electricity grid. You will take on the following tasks:
- Planning and active management of small, medium, and large projects as well as sub-projects and taking overall responsibility for achieving the goals regarding scope, deadlines, costs, and quality throughout all phases of the (sub-) project
- Support in the preparation of project proposals or technical and financial analyses in the initial phase of the project
- Preparation of tender documents within the framework of public tenders (BöB / VöB) and professional management of suppliers
- Ensuring project reporting and control as well as transferring projects into operation
- Assembling the project team and ensuring successful collaboration within the team and with the specialist departments

You remain calm even in hectic situations, are conflict-capable, and are characterized by a high level of assertiveness and initiative. You know how to present and communicate a matter briefly and clearly while still being understandable. Additionally, you bring the following:
- Experience in managing complex telecommunications projects, ideally in the electricity sector or other infrastructure sectors
- Knowledge and practical experience of two project management methods as well as experience in requirements engineering, testing, and supplier management
- Ability to optimally position project employees regarding their skills, align them with project and company goals, and promote and develop them
- Experience in recognizing and resolving conflicts and the ability to respond appropriately
- Very good German and good English skills, French skills are an advantage

The Telecommunications (TC) department ensures the voice and data exchange of all involved organizations in the electricity grid with its systems operated throughout Switzerland.
Based on the reports from the monitoring systems, proactive maintenance work is initiated or carried out to avoid unplanned outages and to ensure the required performance of the TC systems at all times.
As a competent contact person for the constantly increasing demands on telecommunications needs, the TC specialists jointly develop solutions to support the digital transformation in the electricity grid.
