Surface Grinder (m/f/d)

This is one of three independently operating business units of the iwis Group.

As a surface grinder (m/f/d) in the grinding shop, your tasks are:

• Conventional surface grinding
• Independent operation of surface grinding machines
• Grinding of components for toolmaking (stamping & forming technology)
• Independent inspection of components
• Independent operation of measuring instruments
• Single-part production, such as cutting punches, etc.

You bring with you:

• Ideally successfully completed vocational training as a tool mechanic, industrial mechanic, or cutting machine operator
• Practical experience and knowledge in operating conventional surface grinding machines
• Experience with metal processing
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Confident handling of measuring instruments
• Willingness to work shifts
• Knowledge of CAD programs is desirable
• Creative, independent, and careful working style
