To strengthen our Underground Construction German-speaking Switzerland department, we are looking for a Project Engineer Underground Construction (60-100%) for the branch in Bern or Zurich starting immediately or by arrangement.

Project Engineer Underground Construction (60-100%)

In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: collaboration, passion for complex projects, and innovative spirit.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for project planning in the field of underground construction, especially for: caverns, mining tunnels, open-cut tunnels
• Focus on infrastructure, especially for: railway infrastructures, roads, hydropower plants, high-voltage cables
• Performing structural calculations
• Supporting designers and BIM modelers throughout the entire project process
• Ensuring and being responsible for the technical accuracy of the developed solutions
• Active support of the project team

Your profile:

• Degree in civil engineering (ETH, FH, TU) or equivalent education
• Ideally some professional experience, e.g., as an intern or project engineer, especially in the areas of underground construction and geotechnics
• Solid expertise in underground construction required
• Team-oriented, proactive personality with potential and creativity
• Independent contribution through own ideas
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Taking responsibility and making independent decisions
• Team-oriented approach – contributing to a motivating and pleasant working atmosphere
• Very good German skills (C1) in spoken and written form and business fluent English skills (B2). French skills are an advantage
