To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland we are looking for a EMR Engineer.
This position is a pipeline position.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Availability and cost-optimized operational engineering of the assigned plants
- Ensuring professional and economical execution of maintenance while maintaining sufficient plant availability
- Preparation and coordination of maintenance work involving internal and external partners to ensure maximum plant availability
- Searching for improvement opportunities in processes, plants, and workflows, as well as in the knowledge level of personnel
- Utilizing the possibilities offered in SAP for order placement and the provided technical-commercial evaluations
- Assisting in creating and adhering to the budget
- Technical project management or participation in projects, e.g., in planning and implementing investment projects or lump-sum credits, risk analyses, and operational trials
- Ensuring and reviewing the plant documentation through ongoing updates
- Supporting plant responsibility, deputizing and services within the department as well as deputizing within the specialist department
Qualifications and experience:
- Technical school (HF) / University of Applied Sciences (FH) / University degree, preferably in a field such as electrical, automation, or systems engineering
- Communicative, fluent in German and good English skills are advantageous
- Enjoy interdisciplinary work
- As a team player, you are used to working independently and flexibly
- You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, reliability, and resilience
