About the job

The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, housing, and therapy for children and adolescents from 4 to 20 years old in Fehraltorf. From July 1, 2025, or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement.

The TWSG (Therapeutic Residential School Group) is an intensively supervised structured residential group embedded in Ilgenhalde with an integrated school offer for children and adolescents with a dual diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder, and challenging behavior.

Social Pedagogue or Specialist in Psychiatric Care and Support (Workload selectable 50-90%)

These are your tasks

Supplementing the TWSG team with a total of 4 children and adolescents
Accompanying in an individual setting, if necessary 1:1
Designing a structured daily routine and an active living environment for the children and adolescents together with the team
Empathetic support of children and adolescents with sensory impairments in the autism spectrum
Close coordination with the team for a common educational attitude and for jointly managing everyday challenges

What you bring with you

Degree as Social Pedagogue HF/FH, Specialist in Psychiatric Care and Support / Registered Psychiatric Nurse
Professional experience in supporting people on the autism spectrum
Observational skills and joy in accompanying children and adolescents
Reliability, high resilience, and balanced personality
