To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for an Operator.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Alternating activity in the control room as well as in the production facilities of a multi-stage operational department.
- Monitoring, controlling, and analyzing process parameters in the control room as well as detecting and resolving malfunctions.
- Safe start-up and shutdown of production facilities according to specifications.
- Flexible deployment in the assigned facilities on site, including support during changeovers and maintenance work.
- Independent execution and complete documentation of workflows and rounds according to specification documents.
- Working with Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and various process control systems.
Qualifications and experience:
- High standards for a lived safety culture.
- Advantageous: Experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies as well as handling process control systems – career changers are explicitly welcome.
- Willingness to work in a 4-shift system (early, late, night, and weekend shifts) as well as flexibility within the shift teams.
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form for the safe application of work instructions, safety regulations, and internal systems.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously further education.
- Independent, reliable, and committed working style as well as team orientation and resilience. High awareness of safety and quality standards.
