Territory Manager – Southwest Germany 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

This is what you can achieve:
As a Territory Manager (m/f/d) for Southwest Germany, you are responsible for all sales-related customer activities in your territory in the markets of BioTech, Pharma, Academia including Diagnostics.
For this role, you should be a sales professional with excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. You are responsible for customer-specific laboratory automation projects in your area, as well as forecasting and providing marketing/competitive feedback and customer satisfaction related to sales activities.
This position requires a dynamic person with a proven track record in sales, preferably with experience in automation in the life sciences sector.
You will work in the field and support Southwest Germany.
When you are not traveling (approx. 50%), you work from home office.
Your main tasks include:
Successful execution of consultations and system presentations (together with an application specialist) according to your customers’ automation requirements
Consistent and accurate management of the sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and project tracking in the CRM system and other designated IT tools
Conducting strategic market research and proactively acquiring new customers to achieve and exceed future growth targets in your territory
Participation in and conducting regular workshops/seminars/exhibitions/mailings to develop sales opportunities
Providing first-hand feedback on competitive strategies and tactics, service quality, product usability, etc., for specific Hamilton departments
Developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the laboratory automation business necessary to compete effectively in the assigned territory
You bring the following:
Scientific degree in the field of biosciences, e.g., biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field; a doctorate is desirable
Preferably at least 3 years of sales experience in the biosciences field
Knowledge of laboratory automation is desirable
Understanding of molecular biological principles, methods, and applications
Result-oriented and independent working style as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong presentation skills for both technical and sales-related materials
Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written) as well as very good knowledge of MS Office products
Flexible willingness to travel and a class B driving license
