Social Deacon / Social Diaconal Employee 50%

with a focus on children / family / women

After the merger of our 3 church communities with around 7,000 members, a new concept for family work and adult education is currently being developed. With your ideas and your passion for working with children, families, and women, you are in the right place with us.

Your main tasks are

• Design and further development of existing offers for families with (small) children such as "Singe mit de Chliine" and other activities
• Participation in day camps and other interprofessional offers
• Organization and implementation of the women's aperitif (4 times/year) and possibly educational events for adults
• Relationship work, counseling, and support for families and women
• Participative development and establishment of new offers within the social and operational area of Bassersdorf, Nürensdorf, Brütten, and Lindau
• Networking and cooperation with local, regional, and cantonal specialist offices and institutions

Your profile

• Enthusiasm for children and families and their concerns, experience in family work
• Interest in women's issues and adult education
• High initiative, independence, creativity, and sociability
• Willingness to work with annual working hours (lots of room for self-organization)
• Training / further education in the social-diaconal, pedagogical, or social field or interest in further education (career changers are welcome!)
• Member of the Reformed State Church
