About the job
Do you enjoy working with numbers, keeping budgets in view, and appreciate a varied administrative role? Then you can expect a diverse part-time position with plenty of scope to organise your working day at our organisation.
The association frau sucht gesundheit has been committed for over thirty years to supporting women in challenging life situations and operates the contact point "frauenOase" as well as the service "Halt Gewalt" for this purpose. To support our office, we are looking for a reliable person who will competently take over our ongoing accounting and finance-related administration.
Your tasks
- You will manage the ongoing accounting and be responsible for processing invoicing and payments (creditors, debtors, and payment transactions)
- You will prepare clear budget controls and financial overviews.
- You will support management in preparing annual and project budgets.
- You will prepare financial and statistical bases for reports, subsidy applications, and funding requests.
- You will take on administrative tasks in the areas of personnel, insurance, members, and association organisation.
- You will maintain member, donation, and other relevant data.
- You will support operational fundraising with the administration of funding applications, deadline monitoring, correspondence, and documentation.
- You will assist in preparing board meetings and the general assembly and take minutes.
The strategic responsibility for fundraising and finances as well as the final leadership decisions lie with management. Your role focuses on reliable, professionally correct, and timely operational implementation.
Your profile
- Practical experience in accounting and bookkeeping
- Experience in preparing or supporting budgets and budget controls
- Experience with accounting software
- A confident and careful handling of financial and personnel data
- A commercial education or a comparable qualification
- Enjoyment of a varied role combining numbers and administration
- A structured, reliable, and independent working style with good written communication skills
- A confident use of common digital tools
- Ideally, experience in the association, non-profit, or funding sector
You do not need to be specialised in all areas yet. What matters is a solid foundation in accounting, a good understanding of numbers, and the willingness to familiarise yourself with our existing processes and templates.
The requirements are therefore primarily oriented towards practical accounting and budget experience. Knowledge in funding as well as personnel and association administration is helpful but does not form the sole focus of the role.
What we offer you
- A 50% workload
- Flexible working hours with the possibility to combine your work well with other commitments
- The option to perform part of your tasks from home if desired
- A pleasant workplace in our office in Kleinbasel
- A varied role with clear responsibilities and short decision-making paths
- A thorough introduction to our processes, templates, and digital tools
- A meaningful activity in a committed association
- Collaboration in a manageable and appreciative environment
- We support the professional development of our employees and promote suitable further training within our possibilities.
