At the Public Prosecutor's Office, the position of a public prosecutor is to be newly filled for the remainder of the term 2023–2026. The election body is the Cantonal Council (§ 57 para. 1 JusG).
Your tasks
- Leading and conducting criminal investigations involving adults
- Professional and administrative management of the office
- Ordering coercive measures provided for in the Code of Criminal Procedure and other criminal laws (e.g., house searches, seizures, pre-trial detention, surveillance measures) or applying to the coercive measures court as well as conducting and arranging interrogations
- Concluding criminal investigations with a penal order or filing charges and representing them in court
Your profile
- Completed legal education (Master or Licentiate)
- Swiss citizenship, residence in the Canton of Lucerne preferred
- Attorney license mandatory
- Several years of experience in criminal prosecution
