To strengthen our team in the Energy business unit, we are looking for a
Junior Energy Economist (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Support our energy economist in operational and strategic energy procurement (electricity and gas)
- Responsible for high forecast quality in schedule management
- Management of energy storage and assigned production facilities.
- Responsible for updating energy price publications as well as for the correct and timely reporting of energy data to authorities
- Calculation of offers for large electricity customers
- Preparation of energy economic key figures and statistics
- Ensuring the correct and timely accounting of energy economic invoices as well as the correct and complete recording of origin certificates of PV systems in our supply area
Your competencies
- Commercial or technical basic training
- Further training in statistics, mathematics, programming and/or IT application is an advantage
- Professional experience in the energy sector is an advantage
- Independent, conscientious and reliable working style with high initiative
- Ability to map complex issues in models
- High method and process competence
- Advanced Excel skills and affinity for energy economic IT systems such as EDM and IS-E.
- Enjoy working in a team
