For the support of selected Banking and Real Estate Industries customers, we are looking for a (Senior) Account Executive (m/f/d) who will help shape the further expansion of the business relationship. The selected customer segment includes existing customers with a low SAP footprint, so the focus in this area is primarily on expanding SAP cloud solutions alongside increased collaboration with SAP partners.
THE TASK
- Professional and sales-oriented support of customers' business and central departments
- Identifying the medium- to long-term potential of customers (2-5 year horizon)
- Strategic account management and company-wide positioning of the SAP solution portfolio
- Building and deepening relationship management both in headquarters areas and in individual business units and affiliated companies of the accounts
- Strong relationship management between SAP and C-level executives
- Establishing regular C-level meetings to strengthen the relationship with SAP
- Ensuring annual revenues and significant growth beyond that in all areas by increasing the SAP footprint within customers
- Developing and implementing an SAP strategy for account development, opportunity management, and customer engagement
- Customer-specific pricing and contract design including corresponding negotiation skills at eye level
- Managing all opportunities in close cooperation with the VAT team, SAP consulting, and partners
- Achieving agreed revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or comparable degrees
- Several years of professional experience in software license sales within banking industries and/or relevant professional experience at a bank in various roles and projects
- Extensive market and industry knowledge in the banking industries sector
- Understanding of SAP’s vision and cloud strategy
- Management of sales processes in large deals (understanding and addressing complex selling & buying structures)
- Sales-oriented demeanor and proven sales success
- Diplomatic conduct and political savvy
- Negotiation skills at all customer hierarchy levels
- Excellent German and English skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Comprehensive overview of the SAP product and service portfolio desired
- Segment-specific network (with customers, in the industry, and in the SAP ecosystem)
