About the job
The Manufacturing HR Director defines, leads, and deploys the Human Resources strategy of the manufacturing unit in alignment with the vision, culture, and economic and industrial objectives of the company as well as the Brand.
He/She ensures a healthy social climate, an efficient organization, and sustainable employee engagement, while actively contributing to the internal and external image of the manufacturing unit. He/She is a key player in the HR Management of the Division, providing expertise and deploying the various brand policies.
Main Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement the HR strategy in the short, medium, and long term
- Advise the General Management and the Executive Committee on human, organizational, and social issues in close connection with the Division
- Be a member of the restricted Executive Committee of the Manufacturing unit and the HR Executive Committee of the Watchmaking and Jewelry Division
- Manage HR policies: recruitment, skills development, performance, compensation, health and safety
- Anticipate staffing and skills needs in line with the industrial strategy
2. Talent Management & Development
- Oversee recruitment (technical profiles, managers, business experts, support functions)
- Structure career paths, internal mobility, and succession for key positions
- Manage continuous training, apprenticeships, and knowledge transfer
- Support managers in developing their leadership
3. Social Relations & Legal Framework
- Ensure compliance with labor law and collective agreements
- Manage relations with social partners and representative bodies
- Handle sensitive situations: conflicts, reorganizations, long absences, disciplinary matters
- Be guarantor of fairness, respect, and social ethics
- Manage various audits and certifications
4. Internal Communication
- Define and deploy the internal communication strategy of the manufacturing unit in coherence with the division and the brand
- Ensure clear, coherent, and transparent information flow
- Develop internal communication materials (newsletters, intranet, postings, internal events)
- Support Management and managers in their internal communications
- Strengthen the sense of belonging and corporate culture
5. Visits & Reception (Image and Experience)
- Oversee the organization of manufacturing unit visits (clients, partners, institutions, schools, authorities)
- Define reception standards in line with the brand image and company positioning
- Coordinate teams involved in reception and visit routes
- Ensure consistency between messaging, internal culture, and visitor experience
- Actively contribute to the promotion of trades and know-how
6. HR Management & Organization
- Manage and develop the HR team (HRBP, HR administration, training, internal communication, reception)
- Structure HR processes and ensure their efficiency
- Manage the HR budget and performance indicators (social KPIs)
- Lead cross-functional transformation and continuous improvement projects
Profile Sought
Education & Experience
- Higher education in Human Resources, labor law, work psychology, or equivalent
- Proven experience (10–15+ years) in a senior HR role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience on an Executive Committee highly desired
