Team Leader in the Electrical Sector

Technical Office | 100% | Thusis

The Technical Office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as for the implementation of hydraulic works and non-motorized traffic in Graubünden. We also take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 meters high and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton hides in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As a certified office with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).

The technical section manages the entire operational and safety equipment of the cantonal and national roads as well as the more than 40 tunnels in the canton of Graubünden. This equipment consists of a modern and complex panorama of IT/OT and network systems. The environment includes, among other things, communication infrastructure, video surveillance, ventilation in case of accidents, tunnel sensor technology, lighting, and traffic management in tunnels and along road sections. All of this is managed via a modern control system.

For the road maintenance department in the technical section, we are looking for from March 1, 2026 or by agreement a team leader in the electrical sector.

Tasks

Leadership and organization of a small team as well as active collaboration within the team
Maintenance work on tunnel systems and safety systems on the cantonal and national road network
Carrying out shifts outside regular hours (on-call and night service)

What we expect from you

Professional certificate in the electrical sector or as an electrical draftsman/planner as well as corresponding professional development in the specialist field
Leadership experience, assertiveness, and leadership skills
Autonomy, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to handle stressful situations
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Category C driving license or willingness to obtain it
Good knowledge of Italian is an advantage
