Our "Property & Buildings" division, wishing to continue developing its "Sustainability & Energy" unit, is looking for a:
Project Manager in Building Physics and Acoustics 80-100%
The position can be based in our Lausanne or Geneva office.
You will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, spirit of innovation, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
- Advise clients, architects, and contractors on building physics topics, thermal performance, passive buildings, low carbon or positive energy buildings
- Perform building physics calculations: thermal balances, thermal envelope, summer comfort, thermal bridges, humidity, bio-based materials
- Prepare energy dossiers for building permits and develop energy concepts for buildings
- Use dynamic thermal simulation and building physics software: Flixo, WUFI, Flovent, Fluent, DIAL+, CECB, DesignBuilder
- Collaborate with various internal departments and external partners, as well as with authorities and certification bodies
COULD IT BE YOU?
- Degree in engineering from EPF or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience as a project manager in building physics and/or acoustics
- Proficiency in regulatory software: LESOSAI; knowledge of SIA 181, regulations for acoustic insulation and propagation of interior noise in rooms
- Knowledge of SIA 380/1 and SIA 180 standards and knowledge of outdoor noise modeling tools (e.g., CadnaA)
- Advantage: Knowledge of interior noise propagation modeling tools (e.g., CATT-Acoustic)
- Advantage: Knowledge of sustainable building labels: MINERGIE (-P/-A/-ECO), SNBS, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, DGNB, SEED, etc.
- Open-minded, innovative, and dynamic personality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit
- Excellent level of French (written and spoken)
