Fredi is the cult(ure) pub in Winterthur and part of the Casinotheater Winterthur. The nationally known theater house combines gastronomy, stage, and events under one roof. With more than 250 theater performances and 400 corporate and private events, the Casinotheater Winterthur is one of the leading cultural and event venues in the region.

The restaurant Fredi is an à la carte restaurant with 90 to 160 seats (including terrace).

Your tasks

• Co-responsibility for the operational restaurant and bar operation with approx. 12 employees (including apprentices)
• Responsible for smooth service, including active work at the front and cooperation with the kitchen
• Control and promotion of quality standards as well as continuous training of employees
• Representation of the Restaurant Fredi management in their absence:
• Checking daily accounts
• Support in duty planning, cash register programming, customer correspondence / reservation management by email & phone, cleaning planning, and various other administrative tasks

What you bring

• Training and/or further education in gastronomy and good German skills in spoken and written form
• Leadership experience & several years of à la carte service experience
• Passionate host with a good sense for guests & employees
• You are used to flexible working hours (service times vary: Monday – Sunday, including room hour)
• You are an open team player and convince with your positive professional attitude
