Product Manager Software 100%
Main goal of the position:
In this versatile role, you are responsible for the technical consulting and sales of software solutions to our customers and work closely with Business Development and Sales.
Your challenge:
- Strategic planning and management of the product offering throughout the entire product lifecycle (Ingram Micro Portfolio)
- Creation of the product positioning, market message, and sales arguments for the target segments, as well as their communication to support marketing and sales
- Contact person for the assigned manufacturers
- Sales support for the Business Development Manager and support for Sales with manufacturer-specific questions
- Development and communication of a manufacturer-specific go-to-market plan, monitoring its implementation and execution, and collaboration with the go-to-market team
- Expansion of manufacturer relationships through regular QBRs and market development
- Participation in workshops with manufacturers and resellers as well as in global manufacturer projects
- Active assistance in achieving sales targets
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training
- Interest in new technologies, technical affinity, or technical training in the field of computer science
- Basic product knowledge regarding software and licensing, experience in the distribution environment is an advantage
- Excellent German skills (C2), business fluent English skills (at least B2), French skills are an advantage
- Independent, reliable, committed, and resilient team player with organizational and coordination skills as well as sales- and customer-oriented actions
- Open, goal- and solution-oriented personality with good process understanding, analytical and networked thinking, and a competent appearance in customer contact
