About the job
You work 100% in Zug
This position offers you
- You are daily close to production in toolmaking maintenance. You independently, precisely, and responsibly carry out repair and maintenance work on production aids – with the aim of creating sustainable solutions rather than just fixing symptoms
- Your professional skills around production aids are central: Thanks to your experience in tool maintenance, you recognize wear patterns, analyze the causes, develop suitable solutions, and manufacture the necessary spare parts on NC machines
- You always keep an eye on quality, deadlines, quantities, and costs. You work in a structured way, document cleanly in the system, and ensure that production targets are reliably met
- Together with your team leader, you support short- and medium-term resource planning. You take responsibility for your area and think not only about today but also about tomorrow
- Order, cleanliness, and structure – both physical and digital – are part of your routine. You design your workplace professionally, efficiently, and safely
- You actively contribute on the shop floor: You participate in deviation analyses, suggest improvements, and live a culture of continuous improvement. For you, CIP is a lived practice – every day
You bring the following for the position
- You have completed a vocational apprenticeship EFZ in the mechanical field, ideally as a polymechanic, toolmaker, or in a comparable profession
- You have experience in tool maintenance, expertly assess wear, precisely maintain tools, and ensure their sustainable optimization
- You want to continuously develop yourself and are ready to take on more responsibility in the team step by step. Self-leadership, reliability, and a high quality standard characterize you
- Ideally, you are in further education (e.g., towards HF) or have the potential and willingness for it
- You have very good German skills (at least C1/C2) and communicate clearly, directly, and solution-oriented
- You use IT systems confidently and naturally. Very good SAP knowledge and experience with related systems are part of professional work for you
- You convince through high implementation strength: When you take responsibility, you deliver – structured, precise, and reliable
- You enjoy working in a team. Cooperation, knowledge exchange, and mutual support are natural to you and an important part of your working style
