The Diaconis Employment Integration department supports young people and adults in professional (re-)integration. It is a service provider of three labor market measures (AMM) on behalf of the Canton of Bern (Office for Unemployment Insurance AVA): coaching of adults and apprenticeship seekers and placement of temporary assignments in companies of the primary labor market with simultaneous support in professional orientation and the application process. Furthermore, migrants as well as persons without unemployment insurance and job seekers with health restrictions are supported in professional integration. Diaconis Employment Integration offers its services at the two locations Ostermundigen and Biel.

On behalf of the Canton of Bern (Office for Unemployment Insurance AVA), Diaconis Employment Integration offers the labor market measure Bern Job Network for the regions Bern/Bern Mittelland and Biel/Seeland/Berner Jura. The Bern Job Network places job seekers in temporary assignments in the primary labor market and supports them in parallel in the application process through counseling and courses.

You bring the following

• A certificate recognized in Switzerland in the field of job coaching or the willingness to obtain it soon
• A Swiss-recognized educational qualification at EFZ level
• At least five years of professional experience
• Good ICT user skills
• Skill and empathy in dealing with people from different social and cultural backgrounds
• Proven experience in integrating job seekers into the primary labor market
• Current contacts with the regional economy and enjoyment of acquisition
• In-depth knowledge of the labor market in various professional fields
• Committed, service-oriented personality who works independently and thrives in a team

Your opportunities with us

• Case management of assigned participants (triage according to RAV registrations) as well as coaching, advising and accompanying during the labor market measure into professional integration
• Clarification and placement of job seekers from various professional groups in suitable positions in the regions of Ostermundigen and Biel
• Coaching of young people and support in labor market integration
• Review of agreed goals in location discussions and optimization if necessary
• Close cooperation with RAV personnel consultants, application specialists and the coordination office
• Maintaining digital documentation and administration of participants (e.g. reports, files, e-mail correspondence)
