Manager Fitness Club (m/f/d) Leadership Position for Career Changers (without Fitness Background)

Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for a passionate and sports-enthusiastic Intern with the training goal of Gym Manager (m/f/d) on a 100% basis for our club in the canton of Schaffhausen immediately or by agreement.

Your entry at PureGym

In this training role, you will bring your leadership experience as well as your basic business knowledge, actively work in the club, and deepen your understanding of our operational processes and leadership processes. The training takes place in a dual system – in collaboration with our external training partner. The majority of your training will take place directly at PureGym in the club, where you will learn the practice from the ground up. Your goal is to gradually take on responsibility – up to the management of a club.

Your role includes the following tasks and responsibilities:

• You support and accompany our members in a friendly manner and spread the PureGym spirit throughout the area.

• You monitor all club areas and ensure that all quality requirements for safety, cleanliness, and health protection are always met.

• You regularly gather information on PureGym news and market developments and support your Gym Manager in developing and executing plans on how your club can assert itself in the market.

• You regularly lead live group fitness classes and assist in planning and introducing new class schedules.

What you bring:

• You are at least 18 years old.

• You have very good German and English skills (at least B2), additional languages are a plus.

• You already have leadership experience in the service or retail sector – ideally, but not necessarily in the fitness sector – and have appropriate training in this area.

• You are interested in business contexts and are proficient with Excel.

• You have a strong affinity for sports, fitness, health, and sales.

• You have a high sense of responsibility and are willing to take on future deputy tasks of gym management.

• You enjoy customer contact and like working with people.

• You are motivated to take on new tasks.

• You are independent and enjoy working in a team.
