Social Educator / Early Childhood Educator for Childcare (80-100%)
The Rietberg Montessori School, a private full-day school, is looking for a qualified childcare professional starting from 01.03.2026 or by arrangement, who can work both in childcare and in social pedagogical areas. This combined position offers an exciting and varied role in an innovative, child-oriented environment.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for caring for children in the extracurricular area
- Co-responsibility for organizing and conducting holiday care programs
- Accompanying children to specialized classes and supporting them in everyday life
- Assisting in planning and carrying out special events such as school theater
- Supporting teachers in implementing social pedagogical concepts in the children’s daily routine
- Promoting children’s social skills through targeted programs and group work
- Close collaboration with other educational professionals and social educators
- Various household tasks

We expect from you:
- Completed HF training in early childhood education or social pedagogy or a FaBe Kind training with at least 2 to 4 years of professional experience with children aged 3 and above
- Empathy, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented working style
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- High motivation and willingness to learn
- Solution-oriented attitude in daily work
- Knowledge in crisis intervention and prevention work is an advantage and appreciated
- Interest and willingness to contribute to a changing school-based childcare
- Good German skills in speaking and writing as well as interest in intercultural communication
- Resilience and high flexibility in collaboration
- Strong empathy and helpfulness
