Contract duration: Fixed-term contract (FTC) – 12 months
Work rate: 20%
Workplace: University of Lausanne, Dorigny campus
Your activities
Under the supervision of your hierarchy, ensure the organization and coordination of an innovative conference on scientific communication scheduled for September 2026, centered around participatory workshops. The recruited person will contribute to the coordination, program design, and promotion of the event. Specifically:
- General coordination of the "Sci-comm Conference 2026" project
- Design and implementation of the scientific program
- Communication, logistics, and promotion of the conference
Your profile
- Master’s level university education, PhD desired
- Professional experience within a higher education institution (assistantship, research, teaching, postdoc, etc.)
- Knowledge of the functioning of an academic institution
- Desired experience in event organization and/or scientific communication
- Basic training desired in pedagogy / adult education
- Organizational and management skills
- Listening skills and ability to work in a team
- Ease of contact and autonomy
- Excellent command of French or English and good understanding of the other language
Note: The position is planned at 20% annualized activity and requires some flexibility. Periods of high workload are to be expected before and during the conference (June to September 2026), and other periods with reduced workload.
