Manager Digital Construction Projects

For our Project Excellence & Services Team in the Civil Engineering Division, we are looking for a Manager Digital Construction as soon as possible.

In this key role, you will actively shape the digital transformation of the division in a central position. You will operate in an international corporate environment at the interface between users in the construction execution units, central services, and IT.

As a translator between the construction site and IT, you will develop solutions that are accepted by users and scalable across the company, bringing in your technology expertise and construction know-how. With your strong communication skills, you will overcome resistance and create sustainable changes.

Your goal: To find the best answers for the digital future of Implenia – with foresight, implementation strength, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

This is what you will achieve

• Management of the Digitalization Project Portfolio of the Civil Engineering Division
• Conducting requirements analyses and creating concepts and decision templates for digitalization projects
• Project management of digitalization initiatives, e.g., rollout of a construction administration solution, platform for digital delivery notes, AI applications for office and construction site, process automations
• Support of a community of digitalization enthusiasts in the division
• Networking internal stakeholders at the interface of business and IT
• Facilitating communication between end users, management, support functions, and IT expert teams on strategic and technical issues
• Recording, prioritizing, and managing IT demands of the Civil Engineering Division

This is why you will succeed

• Training or degree in a construction profession with further education, interest, or work experience in IT/BIM/VDC/Digitalization
• Solid knowledge of construction processes in engineering, deep foundation, or tunneling in Switzerland or Germany
• Understanding of common data formats, data structures, processes, application and interface architectures, and their modeling tools
• Experience with NoCode/LowCode platforms or programming knowledge (e.g., Web, Python, .NET) is an advantage
• Overview of current technological trends and their application in the construction industry
• Structured, method-based working style and project management competence
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and assertiveness
• High willingness to learn and initiative
• Language skills: German (negotiation level), English (very good), French (optional)
