Job Description
The LGT Capital Partners Private Markets Analyst Program is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to launch an exciting career with a leading alternative investment specialist focused on private markets.
The Analyst Program is structured as a 2-year full-time employment with the opportunity for outstanding candidates to continue their career at LGT Capital Partners. The position is located in Switzerland (near Zurich).
The anticipated start date is by agreement, latest 1 July 2026. The Program includes a 3-weeks tailored training module, followed by continuous on-the-job training.
The Client Solutions and Program Management team acts as key linkage between the private markets investment management teams and relationship managers in driving LGT CP’s fundraises and customized client solutions.
Your responsibilities as an analyst in the Private Markets Program Management team include:
- Support fundraising initiatives by developing bespoke marketing materials across various private markets offerings;
- Contribute to the development of product strategies and oversee the full lifecycle of private markets funds
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from clients, prospect clients and relationship managers based on information from the LGT CP platform
- Conduct market research and quantitative analysis with an emphasis on performance measurement, benchmarking and market insights;
- Evaluate data on portfolio and underlying investment level and convert those into client-friendly analyses;
- Work closely together with the investment management and investment controlling teams to ensure consistent high-quality content and accuracy of data output.
Requirements
- Outstanding academic credentials from a leading university at Master level in business, economics, quantitative finance, or similar subject;
- Prior internship experience in a management consulting, finance or investor relations type role or similar is beneficial;
- High attention to detail and accuracy; detailed experience with MS Office applications, particularly Powerpoint and Excel
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team, with excellent written and oral English skills – other languages are a plus;
- Enjoying work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, with curiosity and a good flair for organization.
