The Benedict School is looking for qualified and motivated specialist teachers for bilingual subject teaching for the basic training of ICT specialists EFZ starting August 2026.
Workload
- Part-time workload of 8 to 12 lessons per week
- Employment on an hourly wage basis
Your tasks
- You provide subject teaching (modules according to ICT vocational training) for the class of ICT specialists according to BiVo2026, especially the modules in bilingual teaching English/German
- You know how to help learners achieve sustainable learning success through targeted support, methodological variety, and goal-oriented teaching.
- You support learners in linking theory and practice, thus promoting competence transfer
- You design practical exercises and exams according to the competence matrix, which you conduct and evaluate in class
- You contribute to the evaluation of new teaching materials
Requirements
- You have a teaching diploma for vocational subject teaching as well as the bilingual certificate of the modular course on the didactics of bilingual subject teaching at vocational schools or are willing to acquire it promptly
- You have further training and experience in bilingual subject teaching, ideally in vocational education
- You have completed higher professional training in computer science and have several years of professional experience in the field of computer science
- You enjoy working with young people, have good assertiveness, and are both team- and communication-capable with pronounced social skills
- You are proactive and resilient, have an exemplary appearance, and enjoy working with learners
- You are able to recognize and influence group dynamic processes to create a positive learning environment
- You have experience in online and hybrid teaching (MS TEAMS)
