Your Tasks
3-year training:
- Three-year vocational training as a specialist in health with federal diploma (EFZ)
- Annual start in August
- Attendance at vocational school and inter-company courses (OdA in St. Gallen)
- Training contract with the Valens Clinics for 3 years
- You have completed compulsory schooling, secondary or high school
2-year training:
- Shortened two-year training for adults
Admission requirements:
- Minimum age 22 years or completed training with EFZ
- Practical work experience in the field of at least 2 years at least 60%
Training in practice:
- Part-time workload of at least 80%
- Shift work and weekend services as per company requirements
Training in vocational school:
- Professional studies: one school day per week; general education: one school day per week
- The general education can be attended in an annual course before the start of training
- The Office for Vocational Education can grant an exemption from general education if a vocational training has already been completed
