The position is attached to the  Diagnostic Department . The department's objectives (comprising 9 medical services) are to provide patients with results to assist in diagnosis, prognosis, therapeutic choices, prediction, and/or disease prevention. These results must be of high medical quality, both reliable, delivered promptly, and at an acceptable cost.

The main mission of the Radiology Service concerns diagnostic radiology examinations and therapeutic interventions guided by various imaging techniques. This clinical activity includes approximately 220,000 examinations and 5,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year, a significant portion of which is provided on a 24/7 basis.

Job Description

As head of clinic, you coordinate and develop clinical diagnostic activities. You also ensure good interface with other units and sectors of the Radiology Service as well as with medical radiology technicians.

Qualifications

You hold the federal medical diploma or have equivalent training and have obtained an FMH title in radiology. If your diploma and/or specialization comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). 

You have a Geneva cantonal practice license.

For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.

Possessing excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. Additionally, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.

As part of the rotation of heads of clinic whose engagement cannot exceed 6 years within our institution, the service recruits about 5 new heads of clinic with specialized titles during the year.
