Economic Analyst / Internal Auditor
Financial Control | 80-100% | Chur
Financial Control is the supreme specialized body for financial supervision. It supports the Grand Council, the government, and the courts in financial oversight of the administration and the administration of justice. The work of Financial Control is carried out based on recognized standards (SR-CH, IPPF, and Cobit) and according to principles of administrative law and business economics.
For January 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a motivated economic analyst or internal auditor (80 – 100%).
Tasks
- Examination of the canton's annual accounts and financial management of cantonal services
- Verification of the existence and effectiveness of the internal control system for operational processes and relevant projects
- Verification of cost-effectiveness and legality
- Co-responsibility for professional and qualified reporting, which generates added value as well as security for the audited services and political bodies.
- Collaboration as a consultant in commissions and working groups
What we expect from you
- Training in accounting or business administration at the level of a university of applied sciences/university, as well as experience in auditing
- Accounting expert diploma, CIA, or equivalent training is an advantage or willingness to obtain such a diploma alongside the profession
- Ability to quickly understand complex correlations and a high degree of autonomy and personal initiative
- Goal orientation with a focus on essentials as well as openness to new aspects and new issues
- Logical and systematic approach in analysis
- Ability to quickly recognize interdisciplinary correlations as well as the resulting issues
- Excellent written expression skills in German for drafting complex reports
- Team-oriented person capable of interdisciplinary thinking
- Practical experience in data analysis is desirable
