About the position
Due to the retirement of the previous position holder, we are looking for a Head of Process Engineering m/f/d (100% workload) starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement. As Head of Process Engineering, you will take on the technical and personnel leadership of the Process Engineering department. You are responsible for coordinating and successfully carrying out sampling and process optimizations in the injection molding area – with the goal of sustainably increasing quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Your main responsibilities
* Leadership and further development of the Process Engineering department
* Organization and responsibility for sampling and process optimizations
* Close collaboration with development, production, and external partners
Your detailed tasks
* Planning, technical and scheduling preparation of samplings
* Sampling of injection molding tools and optimization of injection molding processes
* Definition of process parameters and parameter windows
* Technical clarifications, feasibility studies, production concepts, machine evaluations, material selection
* Support in the development of tool concepts
* Participation in the standardization of tools, machines, peripherals
* Support of production departments with technical problems
* Support in apprentice training
* Expansion and maintenance of the material database
What you ideally bring
* Completed training as a plastics technologist
* Further training as a technician/engineer is an advantage
* Several years of experience in injection molding/process engineering
* Leadership skills and solution-oriented working style
* Technical flair, team spirit, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
