You take full responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing, ensuring the company’s supply – economically, reliably, and future-oriented. You lead your team with clear principles, develop it purposefully, and optimize processes along the entire procurement chain. A special focus is on the further development and automation of purchasing and inventory management processes. As a member of the extended management, you work cross-departmentally and actively contribute your expertise to strategic decisions.

What you will move with us

Overall responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing

Building and maintaining sustainable, efficient supplier relationships as well as active risk and supplier management

Continuous optimization of purchasing processes and reduction of procurement costs

Ensuring high delivery readiness and active assortment management per warehouse location

Market observation and further development of procurement strategy

Close collaboration with product management and logistics

What you bring:

✔ Experience! You are a purchasing professional, have a corresponding higher education in purchasing (e.g., Federal Diploma as Purchasing Manager) and know what it takes for your team to achieve its goals

✔ Experience in strategic purchasing with at least 5 years of leadership experience

✔ Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and pronounced communication skills

✔ Leadership with attitude: You set priorities, make decisions, and take responsibility – even when it gets uncomfortable. You develop your team daily, recognize potential, and ensure performance and cohesion.

✔ Very good IT skills, especially Excel, ideally Power BI or comparable analysis tools

✔ Industry knowledge "Wood/Building Materials" is an advantage
