Project Manager

Your challenge:

• Technical and personnel leadership as well as further development of the Projects department
• Management and prioritisation of the entire project portfolio as well as planning of personnel and financial resources
• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and risks including project controlling
• Ensuring and further developing uniform project management standards and processes
• Cross-departmental and cross-media coordination of internal and external project participants
• Close collaboration with Asset Management, Geoinformation and Operations as well as with authorities, municipalities, engineering offices and executing companies
• Deputising and prospective takeover of the management of the regional water supply REWA
• Prospective takeover of an additional management deputy position in the wastewater sector

What you bring with you:

• University of Applied Sciences or university degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, supply engineering or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in the planning, design or realisation of water supply systems and networks; experience in municipal civil engineering is an advantage
• Experience in the technical and personnel leadership of a team
• Solid experience in project management and in managing demanding projects and project portfolios
• Good understanding of costs, resources, profitability and risks
• Knowledge in asset management and business administration is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as a structured and pragmatic working style
• Organisational and communication skills in dealing with various internal and external stakeholders
• Confident command of the German language
• Willingness to expand your expertise to other supply media, especially energy and district heating
