Catechists

About the job

As of August 1, 2026, we are looking for one or two catechists 40 – 45% for the well-established Pastoral Area Oberseetal (since 2019) with 6,400 believers and the parishes of Ballwil, Eschenbach, and Inwil in the canton of Lucerne. We would like to entrust you with the following tasks:

• Religious education - 1st grade Ballwil (block teaching)
• 3rd grade Ballwil with First Communion
• 4th grade Ballwil with Reconciliation path
• Co-design of services with the students

General parish work - family pastoral care in the pastoral area

• Star singing Ballwil and parish activities
• Collaboration in the pastoral care team and in the catechist teams
• Collaboration on pastoral area and parish projects

The tasks will be determined according to suitability and needs. There is the possibility to split the workload or take on parts of it.

We expect from you:

• Completed training as a catechist RPI or ForModula
• Willingness to work independently in a team
• An open, lived faith
