The CoARA project (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment) aims to evolve research evaluation practices, particularly regarding the recognition of diverse scientific contributions, transparency, and integrity of evaluation processes. As part of its action plan, UNIL is currently revising its internal guidelines, implementing practical tools for faculties, and organizing the monitoring of reflections in this area.
To complete its team for the "CoARA" project, the Research Service is looking for a:
Project Manager "CoARA" (20%)
12-month fixed-term contract

Contract duration: Fixed-term contract (FTC) – 12 months
Work rate: 20%
Workplace: University of Lausanne, Dorigny campus
Your Activities
As part of your activities, you will notably be required to:
- Contribute to the work of the CoARA unit, notably to the revision of internal guidelines and the development of practical tools (monitoring, analysis, writing)
- Participate in the consultation process with faculties and central services and analyze feedback
- Support the appropriation and adaptation of tools by faculties, taking disciplinary specificities into account
- Ensure coordination, follow-up, and organization of meetings related to CoARA
Your Profile
We are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Doctoral university education, completed or near defense
- Professional experience within a higher education institution (assistantship, research, teaching, postdoctoral, etc.)
- Knowledge of the functioning of a Swiss academic institution
- Strong interest in research policy issues, institutional development, and evolution of evaluation practices
- Very good analytical skills, ability to structure and synthesize complex information
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and follow-up management skills;
- Ease in interactions with a variety of interlocutors and a sense of collaborative work
- Autonomy, rigor, and reliability
- Excellent command of French or English and good understanding of the other language
