Application Support Engineer / Specialist for Process Sensor Technology (a)

About the job

• You advise international customers on the selection and design of our process sensors for pressure and flow – from the initial idea to the functioning solution.
• You support customers and sales in commissioning, configurations, and technical questions.
• You analyze technical problems in sensor applications, identify causes, and develop sustainable solutions – pragmatic, precise, and customer-oriented.
• You create technical solution proposals and support customer-specific applications in various industries and applications.
• You work closely with sales, product management, development, and service and act as the technical interface between the customer and internal departments.
• You document customer requirements and actively contribute your insights to the further development of our products and applications.
• You create technical documentation, application notes, and support marketing with technical content.

• A technical education or degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, process engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in industrial sensor technology, process measurement technology, or automation – ideally in technical support or application engineering.
• Good understanding of process sensors such as pressure, flow, temperature, or level sensors as well as industrial applications and media.
• Knowledge of industrial communication interfaces as well as basic knowledge of PLC and process automation.
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured way of working with which you systematically analyze and solve technical problems.
• A customer-oriented, communicative, and team-capable personality who can convey complex technical content understandably.
• A natural, likeable, and motivating manner as well as the ability to inspire customers and colleagues for solutions.
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
