Job Description
Your Mission:
Strategic Communications & PR Work
- Further development of the PR and communication strategy for AutoScout24
- Increase brand awareness through targeted, strategic communication and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Responsibility for reputation management as well as positioning of executives and subject matter experts
- Provide regular analyses and recommendations for action to optimize communication measures
Media Relations & External Communication
- Expand and maintain media relationships
- Create and distribute press materials, press releases, and guest articles
- Proactively place interviews and handle media inquiries
- Design and implement data-based studies, analyses, and market insights, partly in cooperation with external partners, into relevant media and communication stories
- Budget responsibility and active participation in relevant external committees to promote electromobility
- Close collaboration with the central communications department to strengthen group-wide communication impact
- Contribute to ESG communication topics of the Automotive Business Unit in coordination with the central ESG organization (depending on capacity and focus)
Content Development & Cross-Channel Communication
- Create target group-specific content for blog, social media (especially LinkedIn), and partner communication
- Create product-specific content for various B2B channels
- Coordinate and take content responsibility for the customer magazine "PitStop"
- Prepare and coordinate internal presentations for the monthly town hall
Qualifications
You bring:
- Completed studies (e.g., communication, media studies, business) or a comparable education
- At least 3 years of professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or marketing – ideally in the automotive, digital, or tech environment
- High competence in media work, storytelling, and strategic communication
- Confident stakeholder management and experience working with executives and experts
- Strong editorial skills and a sense for relevant topics and target group-appropriate content
- Excellent organizational skills, structured working style, and good understanding of data-based analyses
- Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Proactive, cooperative, and solution-oriented working style
