Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., where you have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, top-class environment! We are looking for a Project Manager Installation and Safety who is ambitious and ready to make a significant contribution to our team.
Main Tasks
Organization and coordination of electrical inspections, including acceptance and periodic inspections (e.g., sampling) in cooperation with external inspection companies.
• Review of incoming safety certificates according to the currently applicable standards and regulations.
• Planning and organization of the required machine inspections according to SN EN 60204-1, chapter 17.8.
• Organization of legally required inspections of small devices according to SNR 462638
• Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements in close coordination with the operator – with a special focus on efficient and cost-effective implementation
• Review and acceptance of all modifications and new installations of medium and low voltage systems
• Organization and execution supervision of preventive maintenance of medium and low voltage systems
• Organization and supervision of legally required training of internal and external personnel with access to electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
• Professional examination as Electrical Project Manager Installation and Safety or Professional Certificate as Electrical Project Manager (Regulation of 25.6.2003)
Willingness to qualify as an Electrical Installation and Safety Expert (NIV 8).
• Proven several years of professional experience in a large industrial environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
• Solid knowledge in dealing with authorities, especially with the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI)
• Strong negotiation skills and confident appearance in the regulatory environment
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong multifunctional cooperation skills.
• Experience in a cooperative and inclusive working environment.
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written).
