About the job

How will cities deal with rainwater in the future? The Drainage Department of the Civil Engineering Office of the City of Winterthur is actively shaping the path to the sponge city. For this pioneering task, we are looking for a motivated personality to support us in the development and implementation of sustainable solutions.

Your tasks

Collaboration in the further development of the city's sponge city strategy

Preparation of basics, information sheets, and guidelines for sustainable rainwater management

Analysis and documentation of projects as well as evaluation of their impact

Support in planning and implementing concrete measures

Collaboration with specialists from various departments and external partners

Your profile

Studies in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field (FH/ETH/University)

Interest in rainwater management, climate adaptation, and sustainable urban development

Analytical and structured way of working

Very good German skills in spoken and written form

Teamwork, initiative, and sense of responsibility
