Workstation Technician at the Directorate of the Department of Psychiatry
The Directorate of the Department of Psychiatry is looking for a workstation technician for a workload between 80% - 100%.
The position is split between two sites, in Prangins and Yverdon. The candidate will work part-time at each of the two sites.
There is also the possibility to hire two collaborators, each with a workload of 40% - 50%, split between the two sites.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Psychiatry of CHUV (DP) has more than 2,000 employees spread over about forty sites covering the needs of 3 of the 4 Vaud health regions. It develops very diverse clinical activities aimed at children and adolescents, adults, and elderly people suffering from a mental disorder. It also has research missions (neurosciences, psychotherapy, epidemiology, clinical research, etc.) and teaching (pre- and post-graduate, continuing education).
In this context, you will join the information system team of the Department of Psychiatry.
Mission
- You are based at the Psychiatric Hospital of Prangins and/or Yverdon, and you provide essential support to collaborators, in person, by phone, and via videoconference
- You assist and advise users in their daily IT needs
- You manage the profiles and directory of collaborators
- You administer and maintain the IT equipment (workstations, peripherals)
- You actively participate in the department's IT projects
- You work closely with your hierarchical manager, the IT department, and application managers to ensure efficient and quality service.
Profile
- You have a Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as an IT specialist complemented by continuing education in IT
- You appreciate contact with clinical teams from various professions (doctors, psychologists, nurses, other caregivers, and administrative support staff) and are committed to providing them with concrete support in carrying out their mission
- You are comfortable with common IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have strong oral and written communication skills, and you enjoy designing and creating didactic, attractive training materials adapted to different audiences
- You appreciate mobility and are able to adapt to very diverse contexts, interlocutors, and clinical programs
- You are familiar with information systems and are not afraid to train yourself on institutional applications.
