Your role: You take responsibility for managing the entire salt production (raw brine tanks, brine cleaning, evaporation process, storage) in Schweizerhalle and contribute decisively to quality, efficiency, and sustainability with your expertise. You combine technical understanding with leadership strength and enjoy optimizing processes and developing your team.What you can achieve with us
- Technical and organizational management of the entire salt production (raw brine tanks, brine cleaning, evaporation process, storage)
- Ensuring timely production while considering quality, costs, safety, environment, and energy efficiency
- Leadership, training, and development of the production team
- Optimization of production processes using Operational Excellence
- Implementation and control of quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP)
- Resource management including budget responsibility and material usage
- Collaboration with adjacent areas such as final production, logistics, maintenance, engineering, and quality
- Conducting HSE rounds and implementing safety and environmental measures
- SAP contact person for the salt production area
Your qualities as a leader and person
- Completed master craftsman training or higher professional education in food, pharma, chemistry, or technology
- 5–10 years of professional experience in production, ideally in salt production
- Leadership experience in a production environment
- Knowledge in quality management and process optimization (ISO 9001, HACCP, OpEx)
- Green Belt Six Sigma or OpEx training is an advantage
- IT skills (MS Office, SAP S4 Hana)
- Fluent in German, additional languages are an advantage
- Strong leadership skills, problem-solving competence, and sense of responsibility
