YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
In this key position, you take on the technical responsibility for the central safety systems of our rail vehicles, consisting of train control systems, train radio, and electronic trip recording. This highly responsible position particularly includes the following tasks and activities:
- Designing, conceptualizing, and integrating the safety systems into our rail vehicles
- Coordinating between the various technical departments for activities related to the safety systems (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering)
- Evaluating and implementing the requirements for the safety systems
- Further developing our safety technology solutions in collaboration with suppliers and our competence centers
- Preparing offers in cooperation with product management
- Providing technical support to the commissioning department
- Planning and conducting system and type tests
- Supporting purchasing in offer evaluation and supplier selection
- Presenting technical solutions and engaging in technical discussions with customers
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical education at university level (FH / Uni) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Experience in project work and in the design and testing of components
- Experience in railway technology, radio technology, or with train control systems is an advantage but not mandatory
- High personal responsibility and reliability as well as strong communication and coordination skills
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
- Good German and English skills (level B2)
