The Department of Families, Children, and Youth is responsible for family and youth issues as well as foster care. It is responsible for planning, approval, financing, and supervision of services in the areas of supplementary childcare and children’s and youth homes. Furthermore, it holds professional responsibility in the areas of child and youth promotion as well as quality assurance for services requiring approval. Additionally, it coordinates the cantonal program for child and youth policy.
We are looking for a scientific employee for the cantonal social office starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Project responsibility for conceptual tasks related to social and family policy issues
- Main focus on child and youth policy topics in the areas of protection, promotion, and participation in the canton of Graubünden
- Other diverse, interesting, and responsible tasks
What we expect from you
- Degree in social sciences, political science, educational sciences, or an equivalent qualification
- Interest in social issues, quality assurance, and financing of social services
- Experience in project management as well as organizational and negotiation skills
- Strong communication, conceptual, and editorial skills
- Independent, goal-oriented, and responsible working style as well as reliability and competence
- Networked thinking, interdisciplinary understanding of tasks, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of cantonal official languages is desired
