About the job
The project focuses on the Cloud Consumer Interface (CCI) team and includes the implementation and construction of the API/automation backbone as well as the required GUIs. We are looking for a software developer or systems engineer with extensive experience in automation, programming, and handling common developer toolchains.
• Review of requirements regarding their feasibility and complexity as well as their impact on existing/planned systems, standards, and guidelines
• Planning, evaluation, development of the API/automation backbone and design of the cloud service catalog
• Development of the necessary interfaces to connect the service portal as well as integration options for the developer teams
• Definition of appropriate methods, techniques, standards, and tools for setting up the operation of the system and interfaces
• Implementation, configuration, testing, and introduction of the concepts
• Definition of key parameters and escalation procedures for describing the service level
• Handover of systems into productive operation
• Maintenance of documentation and system overviews
• Analysis of disruptions and error conditions
• Initiation of measures and monitoring
• Active participation, planning, and collaboration according to SCRUM
Requirements
• Cloud service provider mindset, "Everything as a Service"
• Very good knowledge of how a cloud provider offers services and how this is represented in the service catalog
• Experience in design and system architecture, ability to understand complex system architectures
• Experience with Open Service Broker API
• Experience in implementing APIs according to the OpenAPI specification
• Experience with HTTP-based interfaces and formats such as JSON or XML
• Very good knowledge in: PHP, Python, Powershell or a similar language
• Solid knowledge in web development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with SQL (e.g., Microsoft, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge and experience in event-driven/microservice architectures as well as technologies like GO and Kafka
• Experience with agile working methods (SAFe/SCRUM) as well as knowledge in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
