Contract Manager (M/F/X) 80-100%
This position can be based in one of our offices (Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich or Bern..) to be agreed with the selected candidate.
In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, spirit of innovation, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
- Analyze contracts : Check offers and contract drafts to ensure they cover essential commercial aspects and protect WSP’s interests
- Support project teams during the offer and execution phases: Present key contractual clauses to ensure a good understanding of rights and obligations. Support offer preparation by analyzing contractual and commercial conditions, identifying risks and opportunities, and proposing risk mitigation measures. Support project teams in case of disputes with clients
- Manage contract communication : Draft contract-related correspondence (notifications, amendments, claims) and participate in negotiation meetings
- Maintain documentation : Organize and update contract archives and project documents
- Collaborate with legal : Work with legal teams on sensitive or complex contract-related issues
- Support project teams : Define strategy for additional remuneration requests and provide contractual support in response to claims from contractors or clients
- Evaluate project performance at completion and propose areas for improvement
- Contribute to the implementation of processes and templates
COULD IT BE YOU?
- University degree, ideally a Master’s
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a Contract Manager and/or Construction Project Manager with ideally knowledge of SIA and KBOB standards
- Writing skills for contract communication and participation in negotiations
- Organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and proactivity
- Open and curious personality, driven by the desire to collaborate within an international and multicultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong motivation to work in synergy with diverse teams
- Knowledge of French
- Excellent knowledge of German and English (spoken and written) minimum C1
