Social Educator Youth Work 50%

Open youth work advises and supports young people in public spaces and offers them a leisure and counseling place in the youth center. You care about a good upbringing, equal opportunities, and the concerns of young people and are willing to work also in the evenings and occasionally on weekends. 

• advise young people at the youth meeting point and support them in their adolescence.
• take responsibility for the Mobile Youth Work department.
• strengthen current topics such as role models, sexual diversity, or participation together with the team.
• develop projects and carry them out.
• maintain contact with residents, schools, and other service and specialist offices.

• have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (FH) with a focus on Social Pedagogy or Sociocultural Animation.
• are experienced in Mobile Youth Work.
• enjoy working with young people from very diverse cultural backgrounds.
• convince through empathy, respect, and open communication.
• approach constructively and find practical solutions.
