Property Manager, Janitor

Building Department | 100% | Chur

The Building Department represents the interests of the canton of Graubünden as a property owner and/or client as the canton’s construction specialist office and is responsible for all real estate management services. This includes structuring the real estate portfolio, planning, realization, and management of properties as well as consulting.

We are looking for a Property Manager, Janitor starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.

As a Property Manager, Janitor, you can expect an open working environment in a central location in Chur, attractive opportunities for further training, and possible flexibility for family and leisure activities.

Your area of responsibility

Responsibility for monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of building technical systems in the areas of electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary to ensure optimal maintenance, care, and operation
Detection and rectification of defects as well as execution of minor repairs
Proper maintenance and care of building structures and outdoor facilities, including snow removal
Responsibility for cleaning buildings and facilities including surroundings
Professional guidance and execution of cleaning work within the cleaning service as well as personnel, professional, and organizational management of directly supervised cleaning staff
Direct contact person for employees of the cantonal administration and craftsmen, receiving concerns and inquiries, and coordinating necessary steps to resolve problems

What we expect from you

Completed training in a craft or technical field
Further training as a certified janitor or willingness to obtain this qualification
High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
Willingness to act in technical interventions
Networked thinking as well as independent and solution-oriented working style
Good IT user skills
